SIVAJI the BOSS
Today morning when I was crossing Anna Nagar roundabout, I saw the poster of SUPER STAR’S next movie SIVAJI - THE BOSS.
I was planning to start a Blog just to make my free time very useful for a long time now. But I never got any good topic to write about. Today after seeing SIVAJI’S poster I decided to write about the movie “SIVAJI”. Wow! What a good topic to start with?
LET ME BEGIN!!!
I called and told few of my friends about this. Most of them got excited and went out immediately searching the posters in their area. hehehe! People are damn crazy about this movie! Superstar in that poster was young as usual. “For Superstar only age will increase” This became true for him on this year’s birthday too) - A new movie shooting start date Sivaji (THE BOSS). For his next birth day there is something even big waiting for him. (Guess what?)
Director Shankar who is the next mainstay in this movie has got the best opportunity on earth to stage his unseen talents. Director Shankar is a well known and most appreciated movie director and Superstar is a momentous movie actor. Can you guess what will be the outcome of these two big columns of the industry?
All the songs of Chandramuki are still being played atleast twice a day in Sun Music and other fm radio channels, I am sure that all fans will certainly wait to hear A.R.Rehaman’s new music for Superstar’s movie after BABA. But can’t resist to hear what Jazzy, A.R.Rehaman’s factory singer would rap for Sivaji. “THE BOSS, THE BOSS, THE BOSS”???
We all will surely miss KAIPULA VADIVELU’s comedy in this movie. That’s true! But we shouldn’t forget that this is SHANKAR’s movie and typical VIVEK’S fun will be there. VIVEK himself being Superstar’s fan, I am sure he must be doing a lot of home work to come up with something different for Superstar. Did VIVEK act with Rajini in the recent past? Does any one remember?

The opening scene of Superstar Rajinikanth is of paramount importance for his fans. His opening scene, to a great extent plays a crucial role in deciding the fate of the movie. Some of his best ever opening scenes were from Thalapathi, Annamalai, Badsha and Padayappa, all of which went on to become huge bumper hits.
In such scenario, the opening scene of Sivaji, one of his most expected movies, becomes all the more important.
Shankar had extended rounds of discussions with his assistants to come up with the opening scene. It was earlier decided that a shot showing Rajini coming out of a prison to be canned as the opening scene. But this has been changed now. Rajini’s introduction scene will have the Superstar walking in the streets of New York downtown, Manhattan. With his fans being used to the Superstar opening up with a song or a fight, this definitely will be a different one!!

Vivek has indeed acted with Rajnikanth … if you look carefully, you will see him with Rajni in the flashback scenes in “Veera”.

The audience and the industry there are keen to see more of Shankar’s films. In fact, the top stars there have expressed their wish to work under him. Fuelling the desire is the announcement that his next film will be with Superstar Rajinikanth. Well, a producer called Tirupathi Prasad has already bagged the Telugu rights of Sivaji for a mind boggling sum. He had wanted to produce a Telugu film on a budget of Rs. 40 crores to be directed by Shankar. But, Rajinikanth and AVM bosses requested him to postpone the project. He agreed and therefore has taken only the Telugu rights of Sivaji.

The thing about Rajinikanth and Shankar is that they are workaholics. Once they begin a film, they concentrate on it full . So much so, they cease to think about other things.
Their Sivaji film has just completed its first schedule. They shot a song at a grand set in Ramoji Rao film City. The song, set to tune by A R Rehman, has Rajini and Shreya shaking their legs.
Meanwhile, quickly on his return, the Sivaji team has got down to business. They have started shooting some important scenes on and off.
Shankar had Rajinikanth act at the Southern Railways’ headquarters. A few shots were canned on the Superstar there.
Meanwhile, the vernacular media has been in a tizzy ever sine the film was announced. Though Shankar and Co have been keeping silent on the movie, the media has been dishing out Sivaji titbits.
Kollywood media has been suggesting that Aishwarya Rai, whom Rajini wanted to be in the film in the first place itself, may still figure in the scheme of things.
Another juicy bit of gossip is that Rani Mukherjee has a role to play in the film.

Vaa…ji” “Va…ji” “Sivaji” - enjoyable Rajini’s song
Written by Vairamuthu and set to music by A R Rehman, this song “Vaa…ji Va…ji Sivaji” has been shot. Shankar’s song sequences are so
elaborate, one can make a low-budget film in that cost. `Sivaji’ is a Rajini starrer. Will he ever compromise? Shankar has gone to the full extent of imagination employing novel concepts and shot the sequence in a variety of costumes.
Shooting in the Ramoji Rao Film City, Shankar has shot the song sequence during the first schedule. The shot captures Rajini in the knee length warrior costume, coloured hair and the get up of the King of Egypt …and Shreya as the queen.
Shankar has brought in some novelty in filming this song sequence. Only on seeing Shreya’s dance in the film `Mazhai,’ Rajini chose her as his co-star. An apartment block in the Vandikaaran Street, Guindy was busy. The production crew of Sivaji was surveying the area for a possible location. News trickled out from the unit that they might shoot a scene of Sivaji here. The local people are excited. Will the superstar himself visit their block? The unit people give a knowing smile.
Well, S P Balasubramaniam is also all smiles. He is called to sing three songs for the Superstar starrer. Two songs from Chandramukhi have put this guy in the limelight. Crooner Blazey too will be humming for a song in Sivaji. The superstar is an industry by himself, giving opportunities for a variety of people with skills.

BABA flopped because poor story and direction.Even the super star cannot make it a success with his huge fan base.although u put Shankar in the driving seat here…..there is no guarantee that it will be a superhit…remember BOYS……even if u put rahman here….the same….remember…THENALI…poor songs although the movie is fairly sucessful….So the point here is that nothing can guarantee a sucessful movie except the luck….But no need to be worry guys because..the luck will always be with those with find it….like our Super star,Shankar and A.R. Rahman.Hopefully, the movie will become the greatest movie ever for all of them especially SUPER STAR who is the eldest of them.

Vivek acted with Rajni in Uzhaippali, Sivaji will not only become the highest grossing movie in tamil, but also in trhe highest grossing movie in India beating gadar with 69 Crores. Rajnikanth Shankar AR Rahman, whats bigger than this.

I am really sure this ’sivaji’will creates a sensation after it’s release.Our Thalaivar and Shankar will give their full energy to make this film a blockbuster and perfection in each frames.Shankar is definitely a great technician who thinks differently and since it is a RAJNI movie, he will have a lot of ideas to shape rajni in the best way possible. I hope the fights,the camera,music and the dialogue deliveries all will be different and superfast.

Baba is one of the best movies I have ever seen. Agreed the second half was more of a dragging kind but still there is no flaw in the story line. People should accept it as a different film.
Chandramukhi: It is only possible to Rajni to create records.
Sivaji: My expectations are huge.
The greatness of Rajni is he never disappoints the fans.

Being a die hard thalaivar fan, what is more thrilling for me is to wait for thalaivars movie to be released.In the past we used to know news about thalaivar’s movie from magazines and newspapers but nowadays thanks to the IT revolution and thanks to blogs like this we get to know more about thalaivars movies. There is not even a single day without news about SHIVAJI, ever since the making of the movie was announced. I am counting the days and i am waiting for the release of the movie.Come April 14th Shivaji will take the country by storm and as it is mentioned earlier it is going to be festive season for all of us for the rest of the year. Hope Shankar, Thalaivar and ARR will live upto our exectations.

Fellow Rajni fans,
After the most gruelsome wait for for almost three months after the release date of Shivaji was announced;it was really shocking to know that Shivaji would be released anly on May 17th. It was very hard to digest but had to face the reality. Hav to compromise anything for thalaivars sake.
Heard thailavars chilling out in the Himalayas and he is back only by the 16th ie the day before Shivajis release. Take your time thalaiva we will all be waiting for you.
May 17th will definitely be an unforgettable day for all of us cos the peerless king of Indian cinema is back again and it is sure goin to be a blast.
shivaji music is going to further take off after the movies release. Thanks to ARR. You quiet lived upto our expectations.
During shankars interview in Sun Tv we came to knowe that We are going to see rajni with the same energy and effervescence how he used to be during the yesteryears. That is what we want. Now for sometime i will stop watching old rajni movies at home cos hopefully Shivaji is going to compensate for that.

Man! saw the movie on 15th at Raleigh in NC, USA. Just felt that i was watching it in Chennai. Fans were shouting, clapping, throwing paper bits, flowers … what a show!!
Thalaivar has not aged at all. He carries the entire movie just on his shoulder..
Songs, Dialogue, Dances, Settings, Music, Camera etc., etc., are all superlative…. the only missing item is STORY
No doubt it will gross 200 crores!!
I am going to watch it again in theater shortly
Everybody should enjoy this movie in a theater

great movie i stay in gujrat for this movie i personally came in bombay , and i seen this movie in digital format in fame theater ( malad ) bombay , i never seen 4d technology befor .
