Tokens sold at fan clubs…..
The glorious day to thalaivars shivji release is coming closer and closer. As a recent report in media, the movie will be released in about 300 theaters. More than 500 prints are being made in Tamil alone. Though the report says that AVM is still in negotiations with the rights both locally and globally including VCD/DVD rights, Kerala and Andhra rights were already sold for 2.1 & 8 crores.
Meanwhile, Thalaivars fan clubs have started to issue passes worth a few hundreds to be used in the first 5 days after the movie release. Normally, fan clubs keep special shows or buy regular shows from theaters and keep rasigar or fan shows. The news is that Rs 1600 (Rs 1500 is stroked out) is collected and each fan can buy it till March 31. The tokens can be retrieved for 20 tickets each priced at Rs 50 for the first 5 days with 4 tickets maximum a day. The balance Rs 600 goes as a deposit..
The detail about this has been struck around various places as posters. Bogus or true, Rajini fans are waiting for the release.
